Enduring Ember

The forest

You find yourself in a forest with broken legs. You have nothing but a modest candle and a pack of matches.  As the sun drowns below the horizon, you feel something to be amiss. You start to feel dozens of gazes fall upon you. The trees are breathing. 

Survive

Make it through the night (5 min in real life), while the trees slowly but surely approach you.

They fear

Light, for reasons unbeknownst to you, wards the trees off. Use this to your advantage. However, once the darkness looms, best believe they won't sit still.

Never safe

Having the flame alit might bring a sense of comfort, however, one must be aware of the fact that you can't light what you can't see. The darkest places are in place unseen.

Notes

Bugs are present. Use them to your advantage however you'd like.
